Cold Love — “Other Light”
Hm, that dark gaze fills the void throughout all thoughts and it’s now almost difficult to move in any direction. It’s a reminder of a series of dreams where any sort of eye contact locked the surrounding scene, for seemingly forever, until finally awoken. Maybe it’s Cold Love’s daunting, yet ambient, approach at all of this. Stark electronic music for the soon-to-be-lost-soul, but it also becomes a question of essence at this point and we’re not even sure how further we can link it all with that one true aspect. Though we know, without that how can any of this be enjoyed?

Velvet Veins EP by Cold Love
Cold Love is hard hitting, bone rattling, soul droning, poetically cryptic Drag-Pop. Seemingly brand new to the blogosphere, Cold Love sports some savvy production and forward thinking composition.
This EP sports some album artwork that I am straight up addicted to looking at.
Such a clever use of layer editing, the Velvet Veins EP is in the running for one of my favorite covers of the year thus far.
All the songs sound big as fuck and man, it sounds great.
If you ask me, Balam’s Wander/Wonder just got a run for it’s money with this EP.
Though there isnt any info on the project aside from it originating from Oakland or San Francisco….. There is a tumblr to follow and keep an eye on it. Follow Cold Love here
